Our Story

Born from our passion of food, The Meating House opened it’s doors at 121 Exhibition Street in November 2017.

Our aim is to provide excellent food with quality ingredients sourced from selected suppliers.

Continuing our journey, on 25th March 2024 The Meating House will open the doors of our new venue at 211 Wellington Rd, Mulgrave.

All food is prepared and cooked on the premises, giving the customer that home cooked feeling. We offer our famous BBQ Southern Sanga along with other great food and coffee.
The Meating House Doors are open from 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday.

As well as our Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch menu, we specialise in external and corporate catering.
